So here we go again with rain on the wedding day. That was certainly my punishment for praising the summer to much in my last blog entry...
Never mind! Despite the unreliable weather, Marina and Alex had a wonderful wedding in the church of Nidderau-Heldenbergen and then a jolly celebration on the Ronneburg in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis. Fortunately in between it stayed dry for a few minutes so Marina and Alex didn't need to stand out in the rain for all of their pictures. Otherwise, as a wedding photographer in the Rhine-Main-area you've got to be waterproof anyway. ;-)

Mal so nebenbei... ;-)

By the way... The day before, during their civil marriage at Castle Philippsruhe in Hanau, the weather was quite a bit nicer. ;-)

Please, let us all know how the E-P3 responds. I have no doubt it is up for the job, specially with that gem of a lens you carry for it.
By the way, thanks for the tip on the Yongnuo YN560 flash, I just bought two and getting them on Wednesday. Using them for off camera flash.

Since this year I'm working with 2x E-5. But I have a E-620 always with me for backup as well as a E-PL1 for shooting with the Voigtländer 25mm 0.95 during the party. There is no other lens that makes such wonderful stars.
But I got my E-P3 just last week (though I tried to resist). That little cam is a weapon!
Did you take yours to a wedding yet?
Dirk
Have you thought of shooting some images with an E-P3? I certainly think the camera is capable of doing a full wedding with the proper lenses.
I carry my 20D and 40D for events, good cameras no doubt, but as far as color tonality, they are no match for Olympus.
Paco.
